Hello, I'm Pablo Llaguno
A story of Applied Physics and Software Engineering.
A master's student in Applied Engineering Physics with a passion for nuclear technologies, data science, and hands-on automation. My journey spans from computational physics to building smart kilns in a ceramic factory.
Get in TouchProjects
Electric Kilns
Embedded Systems, Multiphysics modeling, CAD, C++, IoT
Designed and built electric kilns. The system includes custom GUIs, IoT connectivity, and data logging to InfluxDB with visualization via Grafana.
Control System for Gas Kiln
Embedded Systems, C++, PLC, IoT, Data Logging
Designed and built an automated kiln control system, starting with ESP32s and transitioning to a robust Beckhoff PLC. The system includes custom GUIs, IoT connectivity, and data logging to InfluxDB with visualization via Grafana, significantly improving efficiency at a ceramic factory.
1D Neutron Transport Solver
Computational Physics, Matlab, Reactor Physics
Developed a computational solver for 1D neutron transport problems as a part of a Reactor Physics course. The project involved implementing numerical methods to model neutron behavior, showcasing a strong foundation in computational physics and scientific programming.
Interests & Hobbies
Music & Art
Beyond the world of physics and code, I find joy in playing the piano, which keeps my mind sharp and creative. I also enjoy art and design, often incorporating aesthetic principles into my technical projects.
Sports & Well-being
Staying active is a priority for me. I love playing tennis and other sports, which not only keeps me physically fit but also helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance and a clear mind.
